Community connection is more important now than ever while restrictions on physical socialisation are in place due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Neighbourhood houses and community centres are such an important resource as they bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, educational and support activities.
Council is working closely with local neighbourhood houses and community centres to enable them to continue their programs and activities and support for the community during this challenging time.
Many are busy preparing courses to be run online and by phone for Term 2 and timetables will be released shortly.
You can find out more by contacting individual centres.
