International Composting Awareness Week runs from 1 to 7 May 2022 and is celebrated Australia-wide.
To celebrate, we're running online webinars to raise awareness about the importance of composting our organic waste.
Composting is an easy way to recycle your food scraps at home. It avoids them being sent to landfill where they produce harmful greenhouse gases as they break down. By composting, you can reduce your environmental footprint and make soil conditioners and rich fertiliser for your garden.
