The Community Project Wall is a free exhibition space available to local emerging artists, community groups and schools to exhibit a series of two-dimensional works to a wide audience.

Located within Hawthorn Arts Centre, the Community Project Wall is the side foyer of the Town Hall Gallery and spans close to 30 meters. Exhibitions are held every month, allowing for 12 exhibitions per year.

The Community Project Wall has presented well over 1000 artworks produced by more than 300 artists and receives an average of 800 visits to each exhibition. It has helped to facilitate over $40,000 of art sales directly back to local artists of Boroondara.

The gallery is also pleased to have also facilitated donations of over $2500 to local charities and other charitable organisations, thanks to the generosity of artists.
