A new way to pay for, and track, your parking

Car-parking payment app PayStay is coming to Boroondara, making it easier to track and pay for your parking.

PayStay allows you to track and pay for your parking from your mobile phone. You can get alerts when your parking is almost up, pay instantly on your phone, plus there’s no need to display a printed ticket.

It is a new payment option – you can still pay at the machine using cash or card – and will not affect the number of paid and unpaid parking spaces that are available.

Learn more via the signage going up at applicable parking spaces throughout Boroondara in the coming weeks – or visit the PayStay website-external site.

Parking sensor installation in Camberwell Junction carparks

We’re continuing to install parking sensors in areas where parking is in high demand, to ensure fair access to and turnover of public parking spaces. The sensors are installed beneath parking spaces to accurately detect when a vehicle enters and exits the space.

Sensors are already in place in Kew Junction carparks, and now they’re being installed in Camberwell throughout late August into September. We’ll be in touch with local residents and businesses to provide further information and to ensure we minimise the impact where possible.
