What’s up in the school holidays?

We have loads of fun and interactive activities planned for young people in Boroondara these September school holidays – from circus fun to Mario Kart tournaments, cooking classes, creative arts and lots more.

Running from Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October, our free or low-cost sessions are delivered by educators and local facilitators to suit all abilities, interests and family budgets. Many activities will be delivered online if face-to-face sessions are not permitted under COVID-19 restrictions.

We also hope to open the Youth Hub at Hawthorn Arts Centre in the holidays. COVID restrictions permitting, it will open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm. Young people aged 10 years and over are invited to come and play Nintendo Switch, Xbox, pool or table tennis. You can also use our free wi-fi, catch up on study or simply hang out.
The full school holiday program will be available in early September.

Visit our School holiday activities page for more information.
