Boroondara Families is running several free information sessions to help support families and care-givers in our community. Upcoming events include:

Managing toilet training and bedwetting: Learn strategies to manage toilet training and bedwetting.

When: Wednesday 16 March, 7 pm to 8:30 pm

Preparing your child and family for kindergarten in 2023: Join a panel of early-years professionals discussing common concerns about starting 3 or 4-year-old kindergarten.

When: Wednesday 30 March, 7 pm to 9 pm


School readiness with early-years specialist Anthony Semann: Learn what school readiness looks like and how to prepare your child for a successful transition to school.

When: Wednesday 18 May, 7 pm to 8:30 pm

Boroondara Arts

Boroondara Arts is running a full program of visual arts, performances and workshops throughout March.

Explore community exhibition Between Worlds, which looks at the migrant experience in Australia, and major group exhibition Material Reverie. Find out more about our exhibition program.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Fran Belling-led ‘super band’ Kon Shes, and Harmony Week with Inventi Sunday Classics’ chamber music repertoire. Folk-tronic act Amaru Tribe fills the Chandelier Room at Hawthorn Arts Centre, as will Iranian-born multi-instrumentalist and singer Gelareh Pour. Find out more about our live performance line-up.
