The Living Classroom with Sam Crosby

Nurturing happy, healthy and nature-connected kids

Join us for an exciting event featuring experienced nature educator, author and researcher, Sam Crosby. Sam will talk about the benefits of mentoring and supporting children of all ages to spend time outdoors.

Suitable for parents, educators and carers, you will hear how risks associated with nature play are beneficial, and learn fun and practical activities that will support outdoor learning, challenges and adventures.

Sam is the Coordinator of Education and Community Programs for the Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands in Sydney, and co-author of Australia’s first recognised bush-training program for Early Years practitioners, Early Years Bush Connections. She is also the recipient of a Botanic Gardens Foundation and Friends scholarship and has studied nature kindergartens and forest school practices in Denmark and in the UK.
