Get the ball rolling with summer sport

If one of your goals this year is to work on your fitness or to try something new, organised sport is a fantastic way to get active and make friends in your local community. There’s a great range of sport on offer in Boroondara, with something for people of all ages and abilities. Check out the list of summer sports below for inspiration.

Pétanque (pronounced ‘pu-tonk’) is a classic boules game similar to bocce, which originated in France. Camberwell Pétanque Club offers opportunities for social play, as well as regular competitive tournaments.
