Our Sports Club Accreditation program recognises and rewards clubs across Boroondara that provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all players, spectators and volunteers.
Congratulations to the clubs that achieved accreditation for the 2023–24 season.
Gold accreditation: Burwood Cricket Club and Camberwell Hockey Club.
Silver accreditation: Old Scotch Football Club.
Bronze accreditation: A further 7 clubs were awarded Bronze accreditation.
Each club was given the opportunity to respond to questions under 7 categories: inclusion, promotion, partnerships, volunteer/committee, learning, safe environment and nutrition.
In particular, through policy and proactivity, Burwood Cricket Club and Camberwell Hockey Club demonstrated their leadership and a significant ability to provide a safe and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.
Successful clubs will retain their accreditation for 2 years. Applications for the 2024–25 program will reopen in September.
