Boroondara City Council has received a proposal from the Boroondara Netball Association (BNA) to construct an additional 4 courts in Myrtle-Macleay Park in order to increase its ability to offer more training and matches.

The BNA applied for and received funds from the Australian Government to undertake the work. We were informed by the BNA of their application after they received confirmation from the Australian Government they had been successful in receiving funds.

To properly consider BNA’s proposal, we wish to consider the views of residents, users of the park and sporting clubs situated in Myrtle and Macleay Parks about the construction as well as the optimum placement of 4 additional courts.

This matter will be considered by Council at a special meeting on Monday 28 June at 4pm.

Further details can be found on the Services Delegated Committee meeting page
