We're seeking community feedback on the Gordon Barnard Reserve raingarden and stormwater harvesting plan. The key features of the plan are:

  • a new planted raingarden to treat stormwater for irrigation and reduce drinking water use
  • improved waterway protection by removing pollution from stormwater
  • increased trees and landscape planting
  • new connecting paths between the playground, raingarden, sports pavilion and Tovey Street.

Artist’s impression of new raingarden, including tree planting and landscaping.
