Central Gardens playground replacement

We are planning to renew the playground at Central Gardens in Hawthorn, colloquially known as 'Rocket Park'.

Due to its age and condition, the playground is scheduled to be replaced in 2021-2022.

We invited the community to provide feedback in February 2021 and are now reviewing the results of the survey.

Next steps

We will develop a concept design which will be made available to view in May 2021.

Pending funding confirmation, construction is planned for 2021-2022.
