The Council Plan communicates the strategic direction and activities that Council will focus on in the near future.
The Council Plan 2017-2021 was adopted at the Council meeting held 26 June 2017. It outlines the vision and 8 strategic objectives for the term of office of the elected Councillors. It commits to building capacity in many areas and revitalising our City, with a focus on community services and tangible infrastructure and asset renewal projects.
This Council Plan will be significantly reviewed in the coming year, informed by the outcomes of extensive community input on our 10-year Boroondara Community Plan, currently in development. This will guide a major update of the Council Plan in mid-2018.
Each year throughout Council's 4-year term, we use the Council Plan as a base for outlining our actions for the coming year, to keep us on track for successful delivery.
