Channel your inner interior designer to help design the new Camberwell Library.
The Camberwell Centre has been earmarked as the new permanent home for the Camberwell Library. This is an exciting opportunity to adapt an existing public building into purpose-designed library space.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2011 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2011 or early in 2012.
Council is about to prepare a design brief for the architects and we invite your input at this initial stage of the proposed redevelopment.
Ways you can be involved:
• Fill in our e-kiosk survey in any of Boroondara’s libraries.
• Drop by the Camberwell Centre (340 Camberwell Road, Camberwell) on Sunday 29 November, any time from 2pm to 5pm to talk to staff and tell us your ideas.
We hope to see you there!
