Community Advisory Committees

Council has more than 20 Community Advisory Committees that provide a formal mechanism to consult with key stakeholders and enable community participation in a range of issues.

Council Plan and Budget Consultation

Each year, Council produces a Council Plan and Budget. The Council Plan sets out Council's long-term objectives over a four-year, period while the budget details the allocation of financial resources across the organisation.

These documents are open for community consultation for a period of three to four weeks commencing in late April.

Community Research Program

Consultation and community research are fundamental to ensure Council understands the needs and aspirations of the Boroondara community and provides an opportunity for the community to have its say on the future directions of Council and the local area.

Council undertakes regular community research to inform the development and implementation of a range of Council policies and strategies. For your chance to have your say, check out the Your say section.
