Vision
Consolidation, balance and inclusiveness: Lynden Ward is a community that cares about its residents and environment. My vision for the ward is one where I will continue to work with you towards a system of local governance which will facilitate active participation, tapping into the wealth of human resources that we share.
Background
Born in Germany, Cr Kreutz has spent almost his whole adult life in Melbourne. He has been a resident of Camberwell since the mid-1990s and is married with one daughter. While originally trained as a fitter/welder, Cr Kreutz has spent the last 20 years in education, first as a teacher and translator and, after receiving his PhD in Linguistics, has worked as a senior lecturer at Monash University since 1991. More recently he has been involved at senior faculty and university level as Associate Dean and Director of Education in planning, administration and governance. Cr Kreutz was elected the 11th Mayor of City of Boroondara in December 2011.
