Melbourne 2030 Audit (2007) - Planning for all of Melbourne

In 2007, the Minister for Planning conducted an audit of Melbourne 2030. The Melbourne 2030 Audit was focused on the implementation of the Melbourne 2030 strategy.

On 11 June 2007, the Minister for Planning announced the appointment of a four-member, independent Audit Expert Group to provide a set of conclusions on issues it sees as relevant to the effective implementation of Melbourne 2030.

In August 2007, the Minister invited public submissions. A total of 205 submissions were received and were considered by the Audit Expert Group. These submissions can be viewed on the Department of Planning and Community Development's website.

The basis of Council's final submission on the Melbourne 2030 Strategy (February 2003) builds on an earlier submission and assesses the strategy against its recognition of the issues raised.
