Heritage reference documents
Boroondara's Heritage Policy refers to a number of documents containing data regarding the City's heritage places.
These data sheets/citations include information such as a history and description of the place, an analysis of comparative places, an assessment and statement of significance for the place.
The Schedule of Gradings in Heritage Precincts provides a list of all the "significant" and "contributory" buildings in each of the heritage precincts included in the Heritage Overlay. If a building has been assessed as "non-contributory" it will not be included in the Schedule of Gradings. The definitions for "significant", "contributory" and "non-contributory" graded places are provided in the Heritage Policy at Clause 22.05.
