Training, info and events
With more than 200 not-for-profit organisations registered, we can offer you a variety of volunteering opportunities.
All potential volunteers receive a personalised appointment with one of the centre's trained staff to ensure the best fit is made between the volunteer and organisation.
If you would like to find out more, make an appointment: face-to-face or telephone interviews are available.
Information sessions
We provide information sessions on volunteering for members of the public, schools, universities and not-for-profit organisations.
Topics covered include volunteer opportunities available, volunteer profiles, rights and responsibilities of volunteers, and how to prepare for volunteer interviews. A BVRC staff member can visit your organisation to deliver this free presentation.
Training
The BVRC offers a program of training for volunteers and managers of volunteers. Download the training calendar for 2010.
