BA4A (Boroondara Access 4 All) Network
The network aims to develop real and alternative access, inclusion and social options for people with disabilities.
Role
The network will:
- initiate quality partnerships between service providers and the community
- create an open consultative and collaborative approach with all stakeholders
- champion individual choice, community inclusion and participation for people with disabilities
- invite external people for information and advice where required to support the network
- advocate for improved services, promote change, and enhance the capacity of local communities
- support people with disabilities to become active citizens who fully participate in their communities.
Membership
The network is open to all people with an interest in issues affecting people with a disability who either live or work within the City of Boroondara.

Network goals
- establish a social network that engages the person requiring support
- develop innovative lifestyle choices and support options
- adopt a collaborative approach in all planning and delivery outcomes
- establish cost neutral resource opportunities
- provide a framework of sustainability and reliability
- meet the identified need/s of individual participants thorough real, meaningful and valued ways
- support and lead participant ownership of programs and activities
- develop viable, innovative, person centred and community inclusive approach to service provision
- realisation of a contemporary model of service delivery

Meetings will commence at 11am and finish around 1pm.
Locations vary around the community.
