Community transport
Transport can be offered to people who are not able to use private or public transport, or taxis.
We can provide transport for shopping, to community centres and for one-off appointments.
To be eligible you need to be reasonably independent and physically mobile. It is a door-to-door service.
Three accessible buses operate from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The bus serves:
- shopping and recreation centres
- libraries
- senior citizen clubs
- community health centres.
A 10-seater bus with hoist is also available for hire, including after hours and weekends.
