Following is a list of the Council and Committee meeting dates to November 2008.

All meetings are held in the Council Chamber, 8 Inglesby Road, Camberwell 3124.

About Council Meetings

Council decision making takes place in three formal forums:

Council Meetings are the formal decision making forum for all matters over which Council has jurisdiction, by or under any Act or regulation, and are held in the last week of each month (excluding January) usually starting at 6.00pm.

At Services Special Committee Meetings, Councillors consider decisions on issues under any Act (other than the Planning and Environment Act and the Building Act), especially issues connected with human and physical services and maintenance of infrastructure. 

The Urban Planning Special Committee makes decisions on issues under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and the Building Act 1990. 

All meetings are held in the Council Chamber at 8 Inglesby Road, Camberwell and are open to the public.

Presentations to Committee Meetings

Community members are able to make a submission about an agenda item, and personally address the Council if desired, at both Services Special Committee Meetings and Urban Planning Special Committee Meetings.

A request form must be submitted prior to the meeting at the registration desk outside the Council Chamber.

Public Question Time at Council Meetings

There is a Public question time allocated at every Council Meeting.  Questions must be submitted in writing prior to the meeting. People submitting questions are encouraged to submit them on the Thursday, prior to the Meeting Date. 

Questions should be submitted using the attached form, which can be returned to Council by faxing to 9278 4466, or by email to Boroondara@Boroondara.vic.gov.au
