Stradbroke

There are currently two ovals being used by seven tenants at Stradbroke Park. There were previously two separate buildings each one facing an oval.

The northern pavilion was demolished and the southern pavilion was remodelled and enlarged to accommodate all sporting clubs using the ground. The design is such that the ovals can be accessed from both levels.

The extension to the existing southern pavilion was constructed on a concrete slab with block and fibre-cement walls. It provides four change rooms to service the use of the two sports ovals, kitchen, a large social room with views of both ovals, toilets, shower facilities, store rooms and a bin enclosure. A tank has been installed to collect water off the roof for toilet flushing.

Due to the fall of the land, additional storage was able to be provided under the building.

External public toilet

The public toilet was renewed and integrated into the building design, but is still separate to all other facilities.

This toilet is open from dawn to dusk. It is fully automated and has its own parking area.

See the National Public Toilet Map for details on this and other public toilet information in the municipality.
