The Boroondara Historical Societies Association was established in 1997 as an umbrella group to discuss heritage issues of mutual interest to Historical Societies and History Groups in Boroondara. The Association organises two public meetings per year.
The Historical Society's activities include publication programs, excursions, information services, archives and some also have photographic collections, occasional displays and regular programs for talks.
