Home energy savers
Tuesday 26 November, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Surrey Hills
This workshop will provide you with the know-how and skills to make your home more comfortable over summer while saving money and being environmentally responsible. Our home energy expert, John Knox from the Alternative Technology Association, will cover some of the most common household energy usage issues and some practical, easy to implement solutions.
Yarra River ‘catchment crawl’
Thursday 16 January 2014, 9.30am to 12pm, Glen Iris
Explore our local water catchment by bike on this family-friendly summer holiday event. Led by Council staff, this morning bike ride includes a number of stops to explore natural features of the catchment.
Learn about the biodiversity it supports and how we can help protect this wonderful community asset.
