The aim of the trial is to demonstrate the benefit of car share. Subject to the success of the trial and the agreement of the relevant car share companies we would endeavour to expand car share to serve other areas of Boroondara.
Available cars include:
- New – 'Felix', the white Hyundai Elantra, has moved into a new pod at Evansdale Road, near Hawthorn Station – view map.
- 'Rupert', the black Hyundai i30 hatch, now lives at the pod in Wakefield Street, near the intersection with Glenferrie Road – view map.
- 'Piglet', the red Corolla Hatch, now lives in the off-street car park adjacent to Swinburne University, accessible via Serpells Lane off Burwood Road – view map.
