  • Available for high-achieving individuals performing or studying at a national or international level, or representing their chosen sport or arts discipline at a national or international level.
  • Up to $300 per individual.
  • Applications are accepted all year round.

Apply for an Individual Achievement Grant

Individual Achievement Grants support high-achieving individuals who are selected to compete, perform or represent their chosen sport, recreation, arts or cultural field. The grants provide partial help with expenses.

Funding is available for 2 streams:

Active Community

  • Grants are available for community members representing either Victoria or Australia in a national or international sporting event.
  • Grants are up to $200 for events held within Australia and $300 for events held outside Australia.
  • Applications are accepted all year round or until the funding allocated has been used.

Creative Community

  • Grants are available for community members performing or studying at a national or international level.
  • Applicants can apply for up to $300 each.
  • Applications are accepted all year round or until the funding allocated has been used.

Only 1 grant per arts discipline is given in each quarter of the financial year. The disciplines are:

  • dance
  • singing (solo or as a group)
  • drama
  • music
  • visual art
  • multimedia or new technology
  • other.
