Immunisation sessions are back for another year

We offer free scheduled vaccines, and also optional vaccinations for a fee, at our immunisation sessions.

There is no need to book an appointment, just turn up on the day.

  • 16 January – Hawthorn Town Hall, Hawthorn – 10am to 12pm
  • 18 January – Phyllis Hore Room, Kew – 9.30am to 11.30am
  • 19 January – Ashburton Support Services, Ashburton – 9.30am to 11.30am
  • 20 January – Hawthorn Town Hall, Hawthorn – 10am to 12pm
  • 23 January – Phyllis Hore Room, Kew – 2.30pm to 4.30pm
  • 24 January – Hawthorn Town Hall, Hawthorn – 5.30pm to 7pm
  • 25 January – Marwal Centre, Balwyn North – 9.30am to 11.30am
  • 27 January – Hawthorn Town Hall, Hawthorn – 10am to 12pm

School immunisation Program

Each year, Council runs a free immunisation program for secondary school students to protect them from the following diseases:

  • Year 7 girls only – Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Year 7 boys and girls – Chickenpox and Hepatitis B
  • Year 10 boys and girls – diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (Boostrix)
