A listing of regular internet and technology events at the libraries.
The library offers a range of services to improve your skills using computers and the internet:
- We offer weekly Internet Assist classes, where a staff member can assist you with setting up an email account, searching the internet and more.
- The Click goes the Library series uses live demonstrations to show you how to use eBay, Facebook, create online photo albums and other popular topics.
- For senior residents of Boroondara, we offer the extremely popular Computer Savvy Senior program, a free peer training program.
Internet Assist
Would you like:

We are offering:
- a new way to help you with your computer problems
- knowledgeable and friendly library staff members at each library
When:
- Ashburton Library - Wednesdays at 2pm
- Balwyn Library - Thursdays at 2pm
- Hawthorn Library - Tuesdays at 2pm
- Kew Library - Thursdays at 11am

Computer Savvy Senior Program
The Computer Savvy Senior Program is a free peer training program for senior residents in the City of Boroondara who would like to learn basic computer and Internet skills.
Participants are taught by volunteers in their own homes or in one of the City of Boroondara's libraries.
The program is hugely popular and a waiting list has been created.
