Computers can be booked at all Boroondara libraries, for internet access, Adobe Reader 9, standard Microsoft programs and our eresources.
Read the following conditions of use before making your booking.
Conditions of use
The library's public access computers are available to all members of the public for recreation and information needs.
The following are the conditions of use:
- Book time to use the computers and abide by the time limit of the booking.
- Do not load software onto library computers.
- Be self-sufficient when using the Internet/PCs.
- General community standards apply for internet use, users must not deliberately access illegal, inappropriate or restricted material.
- Responsibility for acceptable internet use by users under 18 years old rests with parents/guardians.
- No more than two people at a time are to use an Internet/PC.
- All Internet/PCs are linked to a centralised printer. Printing costs 35c per A4 page.
- USB micro drives may be used.
- Users must comply with copyright.
- The Library Service does not tolerate bullying, discrimination or harassment - of anyone, by anyone.
- Failure to abide by these conditions of use may result in access to library computers being suspended.
Bookings
- Internet/PCs can be booked for one or two hours (on the hour).
- Make bookings for the current day and up to two days ahead.
- Bookings will be cancelled if not taken within ten minutes of the booking start time.
- Only one session per day is allowed per person in the interests of fair access.

- Accept conditions and book a PC.

Phone: 9278 4666 or cancel PC booking online.
How to cancel a booking online:
- Enter your library number and PIN (your date of birth).
- Select 'Bookings' in your account.
- Select the booking you want to cancel, then click green 'Cancel Selections' tab.

The library service does not monitor and has no control over information accessed via the internet and therefore cannot guarantee the reliability, accuracy or appropriateness of the information retrieved.
Parents should therefore supervise children's use of the internet at all times.
