Overhanging Trees

Overhanging branches can be a safety hazard to pedestrians and vehicles.

To prevent any incidents, Council prunes street trees and branches found overhanging footpaths or roadways.

Residents should check their fence line regularly, as trees planted within private property boundaries are the responsibility of the resident.

Please note that the issue of private trees affecting private property is a civil matter.
