Friends Groups

Council is actively working with local Friends Groups in the restoration and protection of remnant Indigenous vegetation at sites such as Welfare Parade and to revegetate important natural areas such as the Yarra River frontage, Back Creek and Gardiners Creek.

Already, great achievements have been made and the future holds promise for further increasing these activities to encompass more sites and to include flora and fauna and water quality monitoring.
