Welcome to Best Value Boroondara

Best Value Boroondara takes in the legislatory requirements and expands upon them to better meet the Boroondara community needs.

It recognises the significant and important role that Council staff have in the delivery of these services.

Best Value Boroondara means:

  • Reporting to and consulting with our community who are our customers
  • Ensuring our services are accessible and responsive
  • Adopting clear quality and cost standards having regard to economic, social and environmental objectives
  • Seeking continuous improvement by evaluating our effectiveness and practices
  • Being accountable to the elected Council

The Best Value Boroondara service reviews are a part of our everyday operations and provide a streamlined process for delivering more accessible and responsive services.

Each department is responsible for its Best Value Boroondara service review, with support provided by Council's Business Development department.

Staff are encouraged to challenge themselves, processes, systems and management to strive for improved service delivery standards and efficiencies.

The Best Value Boroondara service review provides a key way for involving staff in continuous improvement opportunities.
