Time to celebrate our neighbourhood houses

Neighbourhood House Week runs from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May 2024. This year’s theme is ‘Stronger Together’.

There are 11 neighbourhood houses and community centres in Boroondara. Many venues are hosting come and try sessions to celebrate Neighbourhood House Week. Take a free trial, join a taster class and attend a range of activities.

• Camberwell Community Centre craft group – Drop into Camberwell Library from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday 17 May and get ready for warm winter knitting or some clever crocheting with Camberwell Community Centre’s Friday Crochet Club. Watch Master Maker, Sarjit, take the group through their paces. Bring your own project and join the group for the morning or ask questions that you may have about craft.  Everyone is welcome. They are a super-friendly bunch.
